The Team

 Sydah Naigaga.

Is the Executive Director of EMLI Bwaise Facility. She is a Forestry graduate from Makerere University. She has written papers in the field of Community Forestry and Extension and is experienced in Gender and Counseling. Sydah is the Facility focal point to United Nations Framework Convention to Climate Change (UNFCCC). Sydah brings vast experience in not-for profit management and patnership development. Robert Bakiika.

Is the Deputy Executive Director of EMLI Bwaise Facility and the New York Main Representative to United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). Robert is a Scientist and Forestry graduate from Makerere University. Robert devotes part of his time to Science-Policy interface thus influencing national, regional and global policy agenda. He serves on a number of national committees and panels in the field of climate change, environment and natural resources. Currently, he serves at the National Climate Change Policy Advisory Committee for Uganda and the National Projects Development Coordination Committee. He has worked on a number of public policy issues such as: Financing for Climate Change and Environment and Natural Resources, Climate Justice, Livelihoods and Environmental Governance. He has written various educative and informative scholary materials on climate change, environment and natural resources, at national, regional and international level. Telephone: +256 782 643315

Jaliah Namubiru.

Is the Programmes Assistant of EMLI Bwaise Facility and the organization Focal Point to Coalitions such as Food Rights Alliance (FRA) and the Environment and Natural Resources Civil Society Organizations Network under the theme on Weather, Climate and Climate Change. Jaliah is a socoial worker and devotes some of her time to EMLI Programming and Moblization of different stakeholders in implementation of activities. Telephone: +256 757 860 659

Grace Nakanwagi.

Is the Accounts and Administrative Officer of EMLI Bwaise Facility. She is an Economics graduate from Makerere University and has a 3 year work experince in the field of Finance/Accounts and Administration. Based on the work experience, Grace has attained a wide range of skills and abilities including Book keeping, learnt how to record accounting data and maintain such records properly, team work; and interacting well with fellow workmates which have been a strong point to the success of her work tasks and responsibilties. Hadad Kavuma.

Is the Projects Ofiicer of EMLI Bwaise Facility. He holds a Diploma in Industry Chemistry from the former Uganda Polytechnic Kyambogo now Kyambogo University. Hadad brings his scientific background on molecular chemical analysis to EMLI Bwaise Facility 's Toxic chemicals and Hazardous substance Programme. Prior to join EMLI Bwaise Facility, He worked as Laboratory Technician at Chemipher Uganda Limited. Telephone: + 256 705 194240

Peninah Atwine.

Is a Fellow at EMLI Bwaise Facility. She is an Environmentalist and a graduate from Makerere University. Peninah devotes most of her time to Advocacy activities on environment conservation. Christine Mbatuusa.

Is a Fellow at EMLI Bwaise Facility. She holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from Makerere University. She has a training background from the Ministry of Local Government in Policy and Planning. Prior to joining EMLI Bwaise Facility, she was working as an Enumerator at IPSOS, a research company in Kampala, Uganda. Telephone: +256 705 532516

Emmanuel M. Kyeyune.

Is a Fellow at EMLI Bwaise Facility. He is an Information Systems Analyst from Makerere University. Prior to joining EMLI Bwaise Facility, Emmanuel worked as an IT expert at 2KM Engineering Company Limited. Based on the field experience, Emmanuel brings his Information Technology basics to the organization which have also helped him to improve on his skills and work experience.
